CURRENTLY OBSESSED: TRIBAL BLAZER

I am obsessed with this Tularose Santa Fe Fringe Jacket! I love the pattern, colours and the fringe detailing. It's more of a Spring/Summer blazer but I do think it could transition well into Fall if worn with the right pieces - think a black tee and jeans. I definitely NEED this!

RECENT PURCHASES: BEAUTY HAUL

A few weeks ago, I picked up quite the makeup haul and so far I'm in love with all of the products. Here's a breakdown of what I picked up:

LE BLUSH CRÉME DE CHANEL in Chamade - this is a great bright poppy shade.
YVES SAINT LAURENT CRÉME DE BLUSH in #9 Baby Doll - I've been wearing this every day!
CHANEL ILLUSION D'OMBRE LONG WEAR LUMINIOUS EYESHADOW in Mirage - Jordana recommended this and it is the perfect smokey brown shade for everyday.
DAVINES ALCHEMIC CONDITIONER FOR NATURAL & COLORED HAIR in Silver- I bought this after seeing a review for it on Luella & June. Hopefully this will help keep my colour blonde and not brassy.
CLINIQUE CHUBBY STICK MOISTURIZING LIP COLOUR BALM in Supreme Sorbet - this looks a lot lighter IRL than it does in my photos. It's a really pretty pale pink and super moisturizing.

While I was shopping, I also got a number of samples of my go-to skincare products. Isn't the packaging for La Mer and Chanel samples the absolute chicest!

BELLE SPOTLIGHT: JUNE BEAUTY WISH LIST

1. CHANEL RESYNCHRONIZING SKINCARE TRIO: Le Jour De Chanel, Le Nuit De Chanel, Le Weekend De Chanel. I picked these up a few weeks ago and they were described to me as a multi-vitamin for the skin. I'm a huge fan of Chanel's Sublimage moisturizer (which I use at night) so I decided to give the trio a try. Le Jour De Chanel has a serum-like consistency. Le Nuit De Chanel is a richer cream and Le Weekend is a lighter cream that slightly tingles when applied. You use each product as their names suggest (morning, night and on the weekend) and they're the first step after cleansing your face and before applying your serum, eye cream and moisturizer. So far I really like all three products and would definitely buy them again.
2. LE BLUSH CRÉME DE CHANEL in Cheeky: Jordana is wearing this right now and raves about it! I'm a big fan of these cream blushes and already have two of the pink shades.
3. FRESH SUGAR ADVANCED LIP THERAPY TREATMENT: This is a really great lip balm. It goes on transparent and moisturizes your lips for hours. I use it in the morning to keep my lips moisturized until I put on my lipstick or gloss and at night before bed.
4. NARS MATTE MULTIPLE in Siam: Amanda picked this up and loves it. The new matte multiples are a great addition to the Nars Multiple family. And this bright poppy red is perfect for creating a rosy cheeked glow and pink stain on the lips.
5. BENEFIT WATT'S UP!: This golden highlighter can be used as an eyeshadow as well as a golden illuminator all over. I just picked it up and have been using it daily.
6. HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTING PALETTE: This was on my wish list around the holiday's but I didn't it up before it sold out. I'm so glad it's back and it's something I definitely need to purchase. I've heard so many great things about Hourglass' Ambient Light Highlighters and this palette let's you try a few different shades. Which is perfect for me since my biggest problem is deciding which shade to try!
7. CHANEL ILLUSION D'OMBRE LONG WEAR LUMINIOUS EYESHADOW in Mirage: This is another recommendation from Jordana. I'm a huge fan of Chanel's cream eye shadows. Emerveille has been my go-to daily colour since it was introduced and Mirage is a great golden bronze that gives a darker, more intense colour. I really need to pick this up!

CURRENTLY OBSESSED: FEELING SUNNY

Now that it's finally starting to feel more like Spring (sort of...) I've been a little obsessed with finding the perfect pair of sunglasses. I know I already have quite a few pairs but it's a bit of a weakness... Plus, since I'm not buying clothes right now so accessories are the only area I can really indulge ;-) The two pairs that have captured my attention are the Karen Walker Super Duper's and Celine New Audrey Sunglasses.

After seeing the Karen Walker's Super Duper's on a number of bloggers recently (i.e. Blair Eadie from Atlantic Pacific and Krystin Lee from Suburban Faux), I've become slightly obsessed with them. They have a subtle rounded shape that feels oh-so-fresh and stylish. And the arrow detailing on the sides (which matches the case) is really fun.

I've written in the past about my hunt for the Celine Audrey sunglasses (which I love) but I also really love the newest style of Audrey's (they're accurately called the 'New Audrey'). They're similar in shape to the classic Audrey but a little less cat-eyed and a little more square. They're fantastic and so stylish (I highly recommend them). I don't know anywhere that sells them online but they carry them at high end department stores like Holt Renfrew and Nordstroms. If you live in Toronto, I purchased mine from European Optical in Woodbridge. It's a fantastic optical store with a great range of designers and the nicest team of people working there. Plus, the owner Jack wears the coolest red Celine eyeglasses ;-)

BELLE SPOTLIGHT: BEAUTIFULLY BRONZED

I've written about my obsession with Lisa Eldridge's makeup tutorials in the past. Her website is a black hole for me! When I go onto it, the next thing I know hours will have passed and I'll have watched 10 tutorials on makeup application. It's addicting because Lisa makes everything look SO EASY. When she posted this video on How To Wear Bronzer Beautifully I was obsessed. I already had a few of the products she used so I decided to try and recreate the look. Here's what I used:

CURRENTLY OBSESSED: ZARA ONLINE

I recently went into Zara to buy Kingsley some new jeans. When they didn't have his size the sales girl told me they were available online so I could get them shipped to the nearest store free of charge or if I spent $50 the shipping would be free. I decided to order a few things (it was the first time I've ordered from the new Zara Canada online store) and I was REALLY impressed. I placed my order on a Saturday night and the Monday was a holiday. The package was delivered first thing on Tuesday morning. I couldn't believe how quickly it arrived and it was in the cutest Zara box. I have since ordered from them another two times and I will definitely be ordering online from them again! I got some adorable things for Kingsley (and for the LO we're expecting in June).

Here's what I bought for Kingsley:

FASHION ESSENTIALS: DRESSING FOR TWO

DH and I are expecting a new addition to our family in June. Kingsley is going to be a big brother and all of us are really excited for the baby to arrive. Being fashionable while dressing for two can be a challenge though. I have to say, I'm impressed that so many retailers are coming out with maternity lines. There's definitely a lot more options than when I was pregnant with Kingsley a few years ago (hello J. Crew!). I thought I'd pull together a list of my essentials for pregnancy fashion.

In terms of brands, I think Isabella Oliver and the GAP are my go-to for ordering things online but when I was pregnant with Kingsley, I went to NY pretty early on and made a trip to A Pea In The Pod with Jordana. You can order online from them now but I haven't gotten anything from them this time around.

1. BELLY BAND: This is my top essential mainly because I hate maternity clothes. I bought the Belly Band when I was pregnant with Kingsley and I'm using it this time around too. A Pea In The Pod has it listed as a Tummy Tube now. It allows you to continue wearing your regular clothes (with the button undone and zipper down of course) but keeps your pants up and covers everything so they don't actually look undone. This was great for me because I hate the feel of most maternity pants with their thick elastic bands. It's thin and I fold mine so it covers my pants but not my stomach. I also find that most maternity pants are made a lot bigger and less fitted than normal pants and are usually really unflattering. This really comes down to personal preference though. I don't like the feeling of a thick elastic over my stomach but I know other people who started wearing maternity clothes as soon as possible because they hated the feeling of wearing their normal clothes.

In terms of the maternity pants that are worth the investment, I'd recommend J. Crew's Maternity Toothpick Jean (although I had to order down in these because they stretched out), J. Crew's Maternity Minnie Pant, GAP Maternity Slim Cropped Trouser (again order down in these because the fit is huge despite what the reviews say online) and the J Brand Mama J Rail Maternity Jeans.

2. CUTE TANKS AND TOPS: The one thing I have stocked up on this time around are pregnancy Ts and tanks. I'm not sure how but with Kingsley, I only purchased one real maternity top (it seems crazy now). It was the Ruched Maternity Tank Top from Isabella Oliver. Aside from that, I just bought long tank tops from Aritzia in a size larger than I normally wore and it worked. This time around I've invested in a few more tops and I'm glad I did. Here are a few of the ones I've picked up: Isabella Oliver The Scoop Maternity Top in Black and Grey, GAP Pure Body Long Sleeve T in black, white and grey, GAP Pure Body Tank in black, white and grey. I'm also planning to order the GAP Striped Curved Hem T.
3. BLAZERS: I haven't purchased any maternity-specific blazers however blazers are a huge part of my pregnancy wardrobe. They do a good job of 'disguising' the bump early on and then help to add some style to your outfits. I've been wearing all of my staple blazers from Zara, Theory and Smythe throughout this pregnancy and just ordered the Smythe Spring Cross Over Blazer (which I've been obsessed with since I saw the Spring 2014 Smythe lookbook). I obviously won't be able to do up any of the buttons now but can wear it open until post-baby.

4. DRESSES: I bought two basic maternity dresses when I was pregnant with Kingsley and they were great staples. This time around I haven't been wearing them as much but they're still great to have. Isabella Oliver has the best (and most stylish) maternity dresses IMO. I have the Ruched Tank Maternity Dress but the Ruched T Shirt Maternity Dress and the Ruched Midi Maternity Dress are great staples too.

BELLE SPOTLIGHT: MARCH BEAUTY WISH LIST

1. CHANEL LES 4 OMBRES in Tissé Mademoiselle: I really love this new palette. The colours are very wearable and the texture is fantastic. You really can't go wrong with a neutral Chanel eyeshadow palette like this one. I can't find it online but it's available at most department stores now.
2. YSL LONG-WEAR CREAM EYELINER: For a more precise line, a cream eyeliner pot like this one let's you layer the colour to get the right thickness. I've used the Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in the past but I have this one on my must-try list.
3. HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTING BLUSH in Radiant Magenta: Everyone has been talking about these blushes. It's a combination of Hourglass' famous Ambient Lighting Powder and Blush. It sounds intriguing but I think I need to try one of the Ambient Lighting Powders before picking this one up.
4. YSL Volupté Sheer Candy Balm in Tasty Raspberry: This is my new favourite product! I'm obsessed with it! I also have the Grapefruit and they're as hydrating as a balm but give just a touch of colour. They're a must-buy.
5. CHANEL Hydra Beauty Lip Balm: This is a new product that was released last month. It has a barely-there scent and is ultra moisturizing. The texture reminds me of my favourite Dior Créme de Rose but I'd say it hydrates longer and provides a touch more moisture (although it's $50 vs $29 for the Dior).
6. BENEFIT Posietint: Amanda has been raving about this and loves it. She says it provides the perfect flush and petal-pink colour.

BELLE SPOTLIGHT: CHANEL'S TWEED EFFECT

Chanel has launched an updated series of their Les 4 Ombres eyeshadow palettes with a completely new formulation and new colour combinations that are so chic they're based on its signature tweed fabric. There are eight variations and the new palettes have a lightweight texture that is extremely smooth, pigmented and long lasting. I love the idea that these palettes were created to mimic the colours of Chanel's famous tweeds and the new textures are really fantastic.

Here are the new colour combos (I'm sure you can guess which of the neutrals I picked up):
