I'm obsessed with the hot pink lipstick Emma Stone is wearing in this photo. As an alternative to the dark aubergine lipstick I was wearing over the holiday season, I think a hot pink/fuchsia is the perfect shade for Spring. I love how bold Emma's colour is but there are a variety of shades you can choose to brighten your look. Here are a few suggestions:

I picked up Chanel's limited-edition Poudre Signée De Chanel Illuminating Powder on a whim recently and I'm so happy I did. This sheer highlighting powder is a soft pink with subtle gold tones. It reflects light with a delicate luminosity and adds a very subtle glow. I wear it layered on top of my Dior Rosy Glow Healthy Glow Awakening Blush and it adds the perfect amount of dimension. It also has the Chanel logo artfully embossed making it extra pretty (yes - I'm a sucker for Chanel packaging).

I still have to try NARS Albatross highlighter (which I know has a lot more gold in it) but this is a fantastic pink/gold shade and is a good alternative to all of the gold highlighters on the market. It provides a glow but it isn't over the top and manages to look subtle (i.e. it can be worn day or night).

I have the BEST sister and brother-in-law in the world and they bought me the most beautiful Maya Brenner initial bracelet and necklace for my birthday a few weeks ago. They bought me the K initial in both pieces for Kingsley which I really love because it's so meaningful. Maya Brenner's pieces are so pretty and delicate and look fantastic alone or stacked with other pieces.

Maya Brenner 'K' Initial bracelet, Tiffany Pearls-By-The-Yard bracelet, Hermes Clic H, Cartier Love bracelet

I posted about the Maya Brenner initial bracelet in my Valentine's Day inspiration post and there was a 30% off code for the month of February from the blog A Piece of Toast. If you're thinking about buying a piece make sure you look online for discount codes. I know there are a few floating around that you can take advantage of (my friend just used a 20% off code for the bracelet).

The latest edition of What's In My Bag is from Cynthia Yan at ASC. Cynthia has a really fun Alexander Wang bag and some great accessories (her blue Prada wallet is amazing)! And of course, no PR girl would be out and about without some trusty gadgets. Enjoy!

Purse: I need a bag that I can slight over my should and I love the hardware details on the corners. Sadly, I have "lightly tapped" many walls, cars, innocent pedestrians and tall dogs when slinging said bag over said shoulder. This was an impulse buy but I don't regret it! Plus, one of my best friend's is named "Alex Wang."

Wallet: I went to NYC over the holidays and my sister gave me a gift card to Saks. After 2 hrs I finally decided on this bad boy. I love the deep cerulean blue shade - not quite navy and not royal blue.

iPhone & Charger: I have finally seen the light and understand why 95% of the people I know own an iPhone, having just switched from my Blackberry in December. (Although BB10 is peaking my interest...) Since I listen to SONGZA all day long, it drains my battery like crazy, hence needing the charger.

Clementine: Well that looks super Chinese of me, toting a clementine around. But my husband threw me one before we left the house to eat at work today.

Makeup Bag: Cannot live without chappy. Which is why I have 2: Blistex chappy and Kiehl's chappy. Second must-have item is black eyeliner as I have the longest, finest, most beautiful invisible eyelashes creating nothing on my lash line.

USB Key: One of the following is the correct answer, I will let you decide which one you think it is:
a) I have it just in case we need it for a last minute presentation.
b) I like to be prepared in case someone has an illegal download of movie, CD, etc. available for copy.

There's a "makeup" bag attached to the purse and it contains back-up bobby pins, hair elastic, extra chappy in case I ever forget my regular makeup bag. I don't think I've ever looked inside it since first putting those items in there but it gives me comfort knowing they live there.

BOTTOM ROW: L (left to right) - Smitten, Chastity, Quiver // R - Smitten, Quiver

My Tom Ford Lip Color Shines finally arrived and I couldn't be happier! They are so lovely. As you can tell from the photos, I was like a kid at Christmas and couldn't stop myself from trying on Chastity as soon as it arrived (I completely forgot to take photos before using it - LOL). I purchased three lovely pink shades from the collection - Chastity, Smitten and Quiver

These lip shines are incredibly lux and I love the look and feel of the slim packaging. They all have a wonderful vanilla scent which is really pretty and glide on effortlessly. The colour is a lot sheerer than Tom Ford's traditional lipsticks and can easily be layered. They also feel incredibly moisturizing when applied.

Quiver is a really pretty deep pink. It's described as light blue pink but it gives a rosy flush to my lips and has quite a pop of colour. It looks lighter in this photo than it really is but it's sheer so the colour is easily built up and looks quite natural.

Smitten is described as a honeysuckle pink and it's a lovely warm pink with gold. It has more shimmer than the other two and the least amount of colour. I find I need to build this one more than the others but it's really pretty on.

Chastity is my favourite of the three. It's a beautiful light pink shade with blue undertones that's described as a blush pink. Although it's quite pink, it also looks very neutral and I would describe it as more of a nude pink. I find this one the most opaque of the three and although it's the lightest, seems to have the most colour.

Overall, I would definitely buy more of these. Jordana actually ordered me another one for my birthday so I'm really excited to try that one as well! They are pricey but the quality is amazing and the packaging is so incredibly beautiful.

I've been on the hunt for a really good eye cream for a while and decided I would see what all the hype was about with La Mer's Eye Balm Intense (and if it's worth the $$$). This is an extremely expensive eye cream. I have no problem spending the money if it's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G (protecting my skin and keeping wrinkles at bay is worth every penny) but it really has to be a miracle cream to justify the price tag.

I've been using it for about a week now and while I can't say that it's liquid gold just yet, it is a really fabulous cream. It feels incredibly moisturizing and calming. Plus, when I wake up in the morning my skin still still feels moisturized and hydrated, something I haven't felt in the past with any of the other eye creams I've tried. I think I need to use the cream for a while longer to determine if I see noticeable changes but so far I'm impressed.

Olivia Palermo looked amazing during NY Fashion Week and this is one of my favourite looks. I love the giant fur collar and pattern on her coat. And the pop of colour on her purse is perfection.

I love how fresh and bright this 60's inspired makeup looks. The key to this look is flawless skin, a strong brow, lined eyes and a light pink lip.  It's such a pretty look that reminds me of Brigitte Bardot and is perfect for Spring.
