STACK 'EM UP

Samantha's birthday is coming up and she's thinking about getting a few bracelets to wear with her Cartier Tank Française watch. She asked me to do a how-to post about stacking bracelets so I've pulled together some tips for starting a good arm candy collection.

I thought I'd start with an inspiration photo from Pinterest. Love this!

STEP 1: MAKE A STATEMENT
It's important to start any stack with a statement piece. For me this is usually one of my Hermes Clic Clac bracelets. The key is to focus on one bigger statement piece and then layer with bracelets that are a bit more delicate.

Hermes Clic Clac $630 (although this is a statement piece it's also a classic. I have the thin light pink/gold one on my wish list)

STEP 2: GET COLOURFUL
Adding a colourful bracelet is a great way to update a look and adds dimension to your arm candy.

CJ Free Charm Bracelets (a portion of these go to charity - I have a red one and wear it 24/7) $25 - $68

STEP 3: MIX IN SOME 'DELICATE' PIECES
Adding in a few delicate pieces to your bracelet stack is a great idea. These are good pieces to invest in because you can wear them all the time (within your bracelet stacks and on their own) and you'll be less likely to tire of them then you are the flashier statement pieces.

Sydney Evan Diamond Evil Eye Bracelet $730 (this is on my wish list)

Tiffany Elsa Peretti Pearls by the Yard Bracelet $470 (I have this one and it's a great staple)

Gorjana Star Bracelet $38 (want this one)

Elsa Peretti Diamonds by the Yard bracelet $770 (silver version $315)

Tiffany Hearts Bracelet $1,500 (SO expensive but this is definitely an investment piece)

STEP 4: DON'T BE AFRAID TO MIX METALS
A lot of people are afraid to mix metals and colours but I really love how carelessly chic it looks to mix gold, rose gold and platinum together. I think you should just wear what you love.

STEP 5: HAVE FUN

  2. I usually only wear 1 bracelet at a time! You have given me the inspiration to be BOLD and wear some of my favs at once!
