In case you're interested in taking advantage of some of the great Black Friday sales going on this weekend (and I'm sure they'll be some more great stuff for Cyber Monday), here are a few links/sale codes. Happy Shopping!

Kendra Scott is offering 20% off this weekend with the code "20SITEWIDE". I've been obsessed with the Danielle earrings in Turquoise forever! Hint, hint ;-)

Warren + White has 30% off this weekend (I posted about their Cashmere Travel Wrap earlier this week - OBSESSED) with the code "KNITPARTY"

J. Crew has 25% off if you spend $150 or more with the code "YOURGIFT"

Steve Madden has 30% off all purchases with the code "STUFFING"

Shopbop has a discount code "BIGEVENT" so the more you buy the more you save

Saks, Neiman and Net-A-Porter also have great sales!

Emersonmade will be having a CyberMonday sale on Monday, November 28th.

Civello is having a Gift Card promotion online on Monday, November 28th. When you buy a Gift Card for $200 - $500 you'll get a second gift card for the same amount for free. It's an amazing promotion if you're a Civello devotee like me.

I've complained on my blog before about the lack of good sales in Canada (compared to the US) and the costly shipping/duty when ordering online from US stores. I recently discovered that if you have an American Express card you get a free Premium membership for I'll give full disclosure and say that I actually work for Amex but I've never written about my work before and I'm writing this post because I really think this service is genius! makes it easy to shop from US sites that don't ship to Canada and avoid high shipping rates and taxes. When you sign up it gives you a US mailing address you can use whenever you shop at US retailers. Your packages will first be sent to the US address and are then sent to you from You save a lot on shipping/duty and markups when online retailers change their prices for Canadian customers. I can already see this making a big difference for me as I'm an avid online shopper.

I haven't used it yet but will report back on the shipping rates (did I mention that I also get a 20% off discount with my Amex) once I've had an opportunity to test it out.

So this is definitely a holiday 'Wish' list and not necessarily a 'Reality' list.

I wrote about this Warren + White Cashmere Travel Wrap earlier today. I'm lusting after the Black, Fawn Heather, Linen and Iris

Kendra Scott Danielle Earrings in Turquoise. Kendra Scott is offering 20% off this weekend with the code "20SITEWIDE"

J. Crew Cable Stitch Sweater in Caramel or Pewter

I'm heading to Mexico after Christmas and I can already see myself lounging by the pool in this Emersonmade Butterfly Caftan. Emersonmade is having a Cyber Monday sale tomorrow

Tried and true but gift cards are always on my list.

An orange and gold Hermes Clic Clac GM = definite 'Wish' list item.

This is an easy one. I haven't purchased the last two Harry Potter DVDs myself so this is an essential on my list ;-)

I can never get enough Hanky Panky. They really are the BEST thongs! I usually pick them up at Holt's

I love all fashion but when it comes down to it, I'm really an accessories person. A killer purse, great flats, sunglasses and scarves are my particular weakness'. And when it comes to scarves (and sunglasses too for that matter) the bigger the better. I like scarves that can double as a blanket (Amanda will appreciate this post). Given my love of gigantic shawls, I've found my newest item to lust over - The White + Warren Cashmere Travel Wrap. It's gigantic and looks super cozy. A slew of celebs have been spotted out and about wearing it (including the likes of Angelina Jolie and Blake Lively). It can double as a blanket, snood, scarf, etc., and comes in more than 20 colours. It's pretty high on my holiday wish list but the only issue is which colour to pick...I've included my favourite colours below.

At a lower price point they also have a Cashmere Blend Travel Wrap that also looks pretty great (although the Lt Heath Grey is the only colour that I really like in this one).

I am mildly obsessed with Christian Louboutins latest shoes that mix a platform base with a chunky heel. They are so AMAZING and unbelievably flattering! I have a pair of Tory Burch heels from a few seasons ago in black with gold detailing that are a similar shape/heel and I love them. The shape and simplicity of the Bibi 140 suede platform pumps really appeal to me but you also know that I love a little sparkle and the Filter 140 crystal-embellished suede pumps are pretty awesome!

This Style Spotlight was a special request from Jordana. She loves the glamour of this dress and I completely agree. Lainey didn't think the dress looked good on Gwyneth but personally I LOVE it! This is the type of dress I wish I could wear. Unfortunately a deep plunging neck-line like this would just look sleezy on me instead of sophisticated and glamourous the way it does on Gwyneth. Despite the fact that I wouldn't be able to wear it, I still love everything about it - the neckline, sequin, colour, length, even the cap sleeves (and I'm usually very against them).

What do you think? Do you love this dress as much as Jordana and I or do you agree with Lainey?

I was in Vegas last weekend and after seeing the Clarisonic Sonic Skin Cleansing System at just about every department store, I decided to try it. I have to say the idea of having an electric toothbrush-type tool for the face sounded interesting but I was really skeptical. I ended up getting the classic Clarisonic Mia in turquoise (which is SO FUN) but it's available in more than a dozen colours.

The first time I used it, I thought the brush might be a bit too aggressive but my skin definitely felt cleaner than usual. I use the Clarisonic with my normal cleanser at night and started to really feel the difference after a few uses. I can honestly say that I LOVE this product. My skin feels incredibly smoother, tighter and cleaner after each use.

The Clarisonic lists a number of benefits including:

  • Removing 6x more makeup than manual cleansing
  • Leaving skin feeling and looking smoother
  • Removing impurities that keep creams and serums from working their best
  • Gentle enough to use 2x a day
  • Reducing oily areas, dry skin patches and blemishes
  • Minimizing the appearance of visible pores

So far I'm a huge fan. As someone who uses foundation on a daily basis (I have an uneven skin tone that doesn't let me get away with just wearing powder...) this makes my skin feel incredible! Its only been a week but this is definitely a product that I would highly recommend.
