I posted about the Milly Marzia Bow Jacket when I did a guest post on Cherry Pie Twins back in August. Until now I had only seen it online but I saw it at Holt's today and it's AMAZING! So cute! I am actually completely in love with it but I'm not sure how much wear I would actually get out of it. I think it would definitely be a 'statement' piece but I don't know much I could actually wear it from day-to-day... I'll definitely have to think about this one.

They also had this Tory Burch Kington Jacket. The only one they had was on a mannequin and I was in a hurry so I couldn't try it on but it looked fantastic. I wouldn't wear it with the top button done up the way it is in the picture though...

I posted about this Marc by Marc Jacobs panther blouse in my last post and since then adorable lady-like blouses seem to be popping up everywhere I look. You can never go wrong with a lady-like blouse in a great colour or pattern. My problem is I want them all...

This green Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse with 3/4 sleeves, pocket and neck detailing is fantastic.

This Marc by Marc Jacobs Kristi Pom Pom Blouse is so pretty. I love the pattern and the 3/4 sleeves and bow detailing at the neck really make the shirt.

Another Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse. How fantastic is this reindeer pattern?!?! So playful and fun!

This sleeveless polka dot blouse from J. Crew is a really cute staple. It'll look good under a suit or with a cardigan. And the ruffle detailing is really pretty.

I also love the solid version of the Natasha top. The vivid poppy and grape colours are especially fantastic.

How fantastic is this panther print blouse Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse? I first saw the Panthera blouse on Atlantic-Pacific and instantly fell in love. This panther print is so AMAZING!  I'm officially obsessed.

There's lots of cute tops out there for fall right now. I pulled together a collection of some of my favourites that have a pattern or a pop of colour and are affordably priced.

J. Crew: This Silk Scarf Tank in Floating Rose is so adorable! It actually looks a bit spring-like to me but with a black blazer, sweater or leather jacket on top it'll look great this fall!

Zara: There's a bunch of great blouses at Zara right now for fall. The store actually launched its online shopping store earlier this week (unfortunately it's only available in the US - another case of why living in Canada can sometimes suck...). Here are a few of my favourites: Polka Dot Top

Top with Stars - this is the one top I MUST have. I'm obsessed with this print and how it'll look under a jacket for fall.

Draped Top - this is such a flattering silhouette and cool colour.

Old Navy: For someone who has never really bought anything from Old Navy before, I've been finding a lot of cute things there lately. I posted about these cute tanks in the Summer and found a collection of cute cardigans for fall. The Zip-Front Cardigan comes in a few different colours and patterns. I love the leopard-prints and the stripes.

The Animal Print Cardigan is really cute too

And these don't really fit within my criteria for the post but I like the buttons on the Military-Style V-Neck Cardigan and it's a very functional cardigan in nice fall colours.

There are a lot of great things about living in Canada (saying that, I won't get into them) but there are a few downsides too. Not having the selection that's available in the US, always paying a markup despite the fact that our dollar is on par with the US and missing out on the great department store sales are just a few.  Seriously, the difference between our department store sales and the ones in the US is mind boggling.

Not having access to limited edition designer collections is another pain point, especially one as fantastic as the Missoni for Target collection. The collection launches on September 13th and I have to say it looks SUPER cute! I'm lusting after the adorable flats, towels and throw. Honestly, if any of my friends in the US see the flats please pick me up a pair ;-) And the baby clothes are too much! I have to be honest that I don't love the head-to-toe outfits but some of the cardigans and dresses on their own are great.

What do you think? Does the Missoni for Target collection live up to the hype?

Kendra Scott is having a labour day sale and offering 20% off purchases. I've been lusting after the Danielle Earring in Turquoise and really want to get them. I've seen them on celebs like Hilary Duff and they're so fun. They come in a tonne of colours so it's really hard to choose just one...

It's only September and I'm already thinking about our family vacation in January. I know I post about Emersonmade all the time but her clothes really are fantastic. Right now I'm obsessed with the idea of wearing the Butterfly Caftan on the beach. Next on my list will be finding a few super cute bikinis and a new beach tote...
