The McCartney family held an event today to launch the Meat Free Monday campaign asking households to cut out meat on Mondays and slow global warming. I'm a vegetarian so everyday is meat free for me but I thought this was a great initiative to highlight. Even my DH went meat free today - we had vegetarian lasagna and salad for dinner.

To read more about how this initiative will help slow global warming check out this article on what the world's leading climate scientist has to say or read this Guardian's article on McCartney's campaign. Here are a few images from the event of the McCartney's and their celebrity guests.

Mary, Sir Paul and Stella pose as they celebrate the launch of the campaign.

Stella McCartney 'muse' Kate Bosworth came out to support the campaign. She's wearing a really cute ivory suit. The skirt is high waisted with bow detailing that I just love!

Kate and her BF James Rousseau (I had to show another picture of her skirt - super cute).

Even Yoko Ono was in attendance to lend her support for the initiative.
